Our mold assessments are conducted using a high-precision electric pump to capture airborne mold spores in your environment. An air-o-cell cassette attached to the pump collects spores from various mold colonies, which are then analyzed under a microscope by a lab technician.

Our comprehensive service includes:

- Detailed report of mold spores found.
- ⁠Levels of mold spores along with a glossary of fungi.
- Professional recommendations based on the findings.

Please note, if we serve as your Mold Assessor, we cannot perform the remediation to comply with legal requirements and avoid any conflict of interest.

Duration of a Mold Assessment
The time required for a mold assessment can vary depending on the size and condition of your home. Typically, an assessment can take between one to three hours. Certain areas may require more time due to inaccessibility or the need for additional planning.

Mold Assessment Cost
Complete Mold Assessment: $700.
covering all rooms, including the crawl space, attic, and exterior. This package includes three samples, a thorough inspection, and a full report. Additional samples are $75 each (surface or air).

The need for additional samples will be determined during the inspection. The inspector will advise you and seek your permission before collecting more samples. Air samples require an exterior baseline for comparison, as mold spores are naturally present in the environment and enter buildings from outside.

Our inspector will use tools such as a moisture reader, infrared camera, and relative humidity meter to identify conditions conducive to mold growth, like water damage and intrusion.

If your location is over 50 miles from our office, a small one-way trip fee will apply. Test results will be available within 24-48 business hours (excluding weekends). Payment options will be provided on the invoice, and your report will be sent once payment is received.
